Boykot kampanyasının ilk imzacıları arasında uluslararası alandan 219 akademisyen bulunuyor.

Akademisyenlerden 'Türkiye'ye boykot' kampanyası

Türkiye’nin Suriye'nin kuzeydoğusunda başlattığı harekata karşı dünyanın birçok ülkesindeki yüzlerce akademisyen, sanatçı ve entelektüel Türkiye destekli akademik ve kültürel kurumları boykot kararı kampanyası başlattı.

İlk imzacılar arasında tarih, sanat, antropoloji ve siyaset bilimi gibi alanlarda uzman profesörlerin de olduğu çok sayıda ismin kampanya çağrı metninde, Türkiye’nin harekatında ağır insan hakları ihlallerine sahne olduğu vurgulandı. Açıklamada, harektın Kuzey ve Doğu Suriye’de uygulanan feminist sosyal dönüşümü tehdit ettiğine dikkat çekildi.

'AMAÇ ETNİK TEMİZLİK'

Türkiye’nin "Kürtlere etnik temizlik’ hedefini açıkça ortaya koyduğu" iddia edilen kampanya metninde, uluslararası hukuk kurallarının açıkça çiğnendiği ifade edildi.

Cumhurbaşkanı Tayyip Erdoğan’ın dile getirdiği hedeflerin Cenevre Sözleşmesi ile Nürnberg Savaş Suçları Mahkemeleri’nce ortaya konulan ilkelerin ihlali olduğu öne sürülen metinde, bu ilkeler şöyle sıralandı:

"Saldırı suçları; Etnik temizlik suçu ve İşgal edilen toprakların halkını tehcir etme suçu."

Harekatla bölgenin büyük bir belirsizliğe itildiği kaydedilen metinde, uluslararası akademik çevrelere işgale karşı tavrını açıkça ortaya koyma ve Rojava halklarıyla dayanışma çağrısı yapıldı.

Türkiye tarafından finanse edilen akademik ve kültürel kuruluşların çalışmalarının boykot edildiği vurgulanan çağrı metninde, bağımsız, özel, demokratik değerleri savunan kuruluşlar veya gazeteler ile akademisyenlerin boykot kapsamında olmadığının altı çizildi. Metinde, Türkiye’den akademisyenlerin akademik çalışmaları veya uluslararası organizasyonlara katılımının da boykota dahil olmadığı belirtildi.
